The building formerly known as the public health building in Manti has now opened as a new Children’s Justice Center. A ribbon cutting ceremony was held on Tuesday and was attended by Utah Attorney General Sean Reyes, Sanpete County Attorney Kevin Daniels, Sanpete County Sheriff Jared Buchanan and Sanpete County Commissioner Scott Collard. The center will serve as a safe house for children experience physical, sexual and mental child abuse.
