(Cedar City, UT) — A southern Utah city is asking for help battling fires. The Cedar City Fire Department said it is looking for people to join its volunteer firefighting program, which the city Corporation noted helps quality of service and response times. Those who are interested must be at least 18 years old and live within five miles of one of the Cedar City fire stations, among other requirements. Applicants can fill out paperwork online and an informational meeting will be held next month.
