(Cedar City, UT) — A man is in the hospital following a chainsaw accident in southern Utah. The Iron County Sheriff’s Office says the man was operating a chainsaw Wednesday in Cedar Canyon when the accident occurred. Officers arrived at the cabin where it took place and found the man sitting on a log with a self-applied tourniquet to stop the bleeding. He was then picked up by an ambulance and later taken by life-flight to St. George Regional Hospital. Law enforcement didn’t have an update on his condition yesterday.
