(St. George, UT) — The Republican primary in Utah’s 2nd Congressional District is too close to call. Representative Celeste Malloy had a narrow lead over challenger Colby Jenkins as of early this morning, holding nearly 52-percent of the vote. Maloy is running for her first full-term after she took over for Chris Stewart following his resignation from the seat last year. She received the endorsement of former President Trump, while Jenkins received the support of Senator Mike Lee. Utah’s 2nd District covers a major portion of the state, including St. George and Salt Lake City.
