(Sevier County, UT) — A morning wildfire yesterday caused power outages in Sevier County. The fire began along I-70 near mile post 21 in a mountainous area, making it tough for fire crews to reach the blaze, so a helicopter was used to keep the flames from spreading. Due to the fires close proximity to power lines they were shut down during firefighting efforts. About 800 people in the area lost power, but it has since been restored.
