(Springdale, UT) — Investigators are trying to determine the cause of death of a hiker who was found unresponsive at Zion National Park in Washington County. Park officials received a report a male hiker was found yesterday afternoon at Scout Lookout, according to a park news release. Attempts to revive him were unsuccessful. A joint investigation is being conducted by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, Utah Office of the Medical Examiner, and the National Park Service.
