A $1,000 scholarship is on the line this Saturday as four young women compete for the Miss Mt. Pleasant title. The pageant begins at 7 p.m. Saturday at the North Sanpete High School. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and tickets will be sold at the door. Adults are $5 and children are $3. Contestants include Alice Hafen, daughter of Jonathan and Heather Hafen; Tori Shelley, daughter of Bryan and Ann-Marie Shelley; Taylor Timms niece of Brianna Timms; and Eden Fischer, daughter of Robert and Diana Fischer.
