LDS Church Announces New Temples In SLC Metro

(Salt Lake City, UT) — The LDS Church has announced plans to build two new temples in the suburbs of Salt Lake City. The first temple will be built in Lehi, and will include both a new meetinghouse and a multi-story temple building measuring about 85-thousand square feet. It will be located near the intersection of 3950 North and Center Street. The second temple will be built in West Jordan to the west of Highway 111 near 7148 South, and will also be 85-thousand square feet. Both projects were announced during the Church’s annual general conference.
