EPHRAIM, Utah-Isaac Finlinson’s 25 points and 6 rebounds led the way and the No. 13 Snow Badgers pounded USU-Eastern Utah 100-57 in Region 18 men’s basketball play at the Horne Activity Center Saturday. The Badgers shot 57 percent (39-68) for the game in improving to 18-2 and 2-2 in SWAC play. Ethan Copeland’s 13 points led the Eagles in defeat. Snow returns to action Thursday by hosting perennial national power Salt Lake Community College as SWAC play resumes for both squads.

EPHRAIM, Utah-Former Snow star Japrix Weaver posted 14 points on 6-9 from the field and 2-4 from range as the No. 19 USU-Eastern Utah Eagles routed Snow 86-53 Saturday in Region 18 women’s basketball play at the Horne Activity Center. Madison Hosino’s game-high 18 points, along with 5 rebounds, led the Badgers in the loss. USU-Eastern Utah improved to 18-3 and 6-2 in SWAC play with the win. Snow fell to 12-9 and 2-3 in SWAC play in defeat. The Badgers return to action Thursday by hosting Salt Lake Community College.
