IRVING, Texas-Friday, BYU men’s basketball senior forward Jaxson Robinson was named as the Big 12 student-athlete of the month.
The native of Ada, Okla. was one of 13 student-athletes rewarded by the conference for demonstrating leadership, perseverance and strong commitments to academics and community service while also excelling at their respective sports.
Presently, Robinson is averaging 16.6 points per game and shooting just under 49 percent from the field for the Cougars.
Robinson and his BYU teammates return to action Saturday afternoon at the Marriott Center to host the Wyoming Cowboys.
