Panther Winter Classic @ Pinnacle High School
PRICE, Utah-Jake Batty stepped up with 20 points and the Wayne Badgers bested Green River for the second time in five days with a 65-39 win over the Pirates Thursday at the Panther Winter Classic. Luis Hernandez led the Pirates with 11 points in the loss.
PRICE, Utah-Cole Barton led the way with 37 points and the Pinnacle Panthers surged past Escalante 61-52 at the Panther Winter Classic Thursday. Jaken Cottam led the Moquis in the loss with 19 points.
Region 20
JUNCTION, Utah-Jaxon Westwood and Kole Westwood each recorded 17 points and the Piute Thunderbirds bested Valley 62-52 in Region 20 boys basketball play Thursday. Johnny Cox led the Buffalos in the loss with 13 points.
TROPIC, Utah-Remme Chappell netted 17 points and 8 rebounds as the Panguitch Bobcats decimated Bryce Valley 60-17 Thursday in Region 20 boys basketball play. Zaren Roberts led the Mustangs with 7 points in the loss.

MILFORD, Utah-Sadler Barnes netted 19 points and 5 rebounds and the Milford Tigers bested Parowan 49-41 Thursday in non-region boys basketball play. Hunter Bettridge led the Rams with 14 points in defeat.
KANAB, Utah-Cash Mortensen led the way with 23 points and the Kanab Cowboys bested Delta 68-56 in non-region boys basketball play Thursday. Cai Henderson’s game-high 35 points led the Rabbits in defeat.

MT. PLEASANT, Utah-The Canyon View Falcons clipped North Sanpete 55-40 in Region 12 girls basketball action Thursday. Jessica Applegarth led the Hawks in the loss with 19 points and 9 rebounds.
CASTLE DALE, Utah-Aliya Lester posted 17 points and the Emery Spartans pounded Delta 65-35 Thursday in Region 12 girls basketball play. Ebony Dodoo led the Rabbits with 13 points in defeat.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Abbee Albrecht recorded 24 points and the Richfield Wildcats drilled Manti 55-32 in Region 12 girls basketball play Thursday. June Olsen led the Templars in defeat with 10 points.

PANGUITCH, Utah-Tabetha Henrie netted 35 points and the Panguitch Bobcats overpowered Duchesne 82-65 Thursday in non-region girls basketball play. Kira Grant had 19 points for the Eagles in the loss.
MILFORD, Utah-Tayleah Spaulding posted 17 points and the Milford Tigers routed Parowan 56-36 in non-region girls basketball play Thursday. Bella Robinson’s game-high 29 points led the Rams in the loss.
