ARLINGTON, Texas-Monday, Utah Valley men’s basketball redshirt senior forward Caleb Stone-Carrawell was named as the WAC newcomer of the week.

The Charlotte, N.C. native came to the Wolverines from Austin Peay and averaged 19 points per game in a 70-54 win over Weber State and a 74-71 loss to Oregon State.

Stone-Carrawell is averaging 13.6 points per game this season for the Wolverines.

Stone-Carrawell and his UVU teammates return to action Saturday at Utah for a 2:00 pm opening tip.
