(Logan, UT) — Officials are urging people to be careful after another person died from being struck by a car. A Logan woman recently died after being struck by a pickup truck, marking the 11th auto-pedestrian related fatality in Utah since the beginning of October. Law enforcement says there are more pedestrian fatality cases during the fall and winter because of shorter days and more cars being on the road. A Utah Highway Patrol official says people should always use a crosswalk and can wear lights and reflective gear to be more visible to cars.
