–UPDATE– Both US Highway 6 and 191 have reopened as of Monday afternoon.
Two Utah highways were closed on Sunday due to mudslides. Both lanes of US Highway 6 are closed from Soldier Summit to Helper due to the washout of a culvert. UDOT said there is no estimate of reopening the road although they are trying to make a temporary repair and have the roadway partially open by Monday afternoon. However, the repair will only be gravel on the roadway, and the speed limit will be reduced to 25 mph in that area.
Multiple mudslides on Sunday also forced the closure of Highway 191 from four miles south of Duchesne to Emma Park Road. There is no estimate on the reopening of that roadway as well.
