Three people are in the hospital after a crash in Sanpete County. According to Utah Highway Patrol Lt. Clay Morgan, Deputy Devin Addis was stopped on the right side of the road near mile post 258 on SR 89 issuing a citation to a large box truck when another medium sized box truck clipped the deputies patrol truck and then into the back of the large box truck. Addis was standing on the passenger side steps of the truck and was thrown off, suffering minor injuries. Addis and both drivers were taken to area hospitals with minor to moderate injuries. Another trooper, Jacob Davis, was at the scene, but no injury or damage was done to him or his vehicle.
