FORT WORTH, Texas-Utah senior quarterback Cameron Rising was named to the Davey O’Brien Watch List Tuesday per an announcement by the Davey O’Brien Foundation.

This award is annually presented to the top quarterback in FBS football.

Last season, Rising completed 64.7 percent of his passes for 3,034 yards, 26 touchdowns and 8 interceptions.

Throughout his career for the Utes, Rising has completed 64.1 percent of his passes for 5,572 yard, 46 touchdowns and 14 interceptions.

Rising and his Utah teammates begin the season August 31 by hosting the Florida Gators at Rice-Eccles Stadium.
