ATLANTA-Thursday, BYU junior defensive end Tyler Batty and Utah State junior long snapper Jacob Garcia were each named to the Wuerffel Watch List.

This award is annually presented to the player in college football who best combines exemplary community service with leadership achievement on and off the field.

Batty, a former Payson High School star, is a volunteer with Kids On the Move, an ABA therapy program in Utah County, that works closely with the BYU Built4Life program.
