A development agreement was approved by the Manti City council last week. The 22 acre subdivision directly north of the Manti Temple is expected to include 56 single-family homes as well as some commercial space. No prospective tenants were announced for the commercial space. Manti City Mayor Chuck Bigelow also mentioned that there would be issues that would need to be addressed with the Utah Department of Transportation regarding speed limits on U.S. 89.
