BLM To Invest $19.3-Million In Utah Public Lands

(St. George, UT) — The Bureau of Land Management is investing more than 19-million dollars to protect native vegetation and riparian species on public lands in Utah. The BLM announced on Wednesday that the funding will focus on two landscape restoration areas, Color Country Converging in Southern Utah and Upper Bear River along the Utah-Wyoming state line. In a release, the BLM said with the investments, landscapes will be better able to provide clean water, habitat for fish and wildlife, opportunities for recreation, and will be more resilient to wildfire and drought.
