(Iron County, UT) — The Utah Highway Patrol is providing details of a drug bust that started with a traffic stop in Iron County. The department says an officer pulled over a car last week driving under the speed limit on Interstate 15. The officer was suspicious of potential “criminal activity” and called in a K9 unit for help, which alerted officers of drugs possibly being in the car. That’s when the car was searched and several bags of different drugs were found, including fentanyl pills, meth and cocaine. The two people inside the car were arrested on multiple charges.
