(Salt Lake City, UT) — Opponents of the new design for the Utah flag are making another attempt to keep it from becoming the state’s official flag. The group has filed paperwork with the state to put an initiative on next year’s ballot. An attempt to get the initiative on this year’s ballot failed when the group was only able to gather about a third of the signatures needed. The group has until February 15th to gather enough signatures to put the measure in front of voters next year.
