The March report from the Utah Department of Workforce Services shows a two-point-seven-percent increase in job growth since March 2022, which matches the nation’s job growth. The unemployment rate in Utah holds at two-point-four-percent, which is more than one percentage point lower than the national unemployment rate. The report shows the state’s current job count is just above one-point-seven million workers, an increase of 44-thousand jobs over the previous 12 months.
