RICHFIELD, Utah-Brooks Dalton recorded 17 points and 8 rebounds on 7-11 from the field and the No. 3 Piute Thunderbirds humbled No. 6 Valley 53-40 Thursday in the 1A state quarterfinals at the Sevier Valley Center. Bret Heaton’s 11 points led the Buffaloes in the loss. Piute next faces No. 7 Wendover in the state semifinals Friday at 8:30 pm at the Sevier Valley Center.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Shawn Duboise posted 20 points and 5 rebounds on 9-13 from the field and the No. 7 Wendover Wildcats outlasted No. 2 Manila 70-65 in overtime in the 1A state quarterfinals at the Sevier Valley Center. Kyler Hughes netted 22 points and 6 rebounds in the loss for the Mustangs.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Klyn Fullmer posted 16 points and 11 rebounds on 6-10 from the field and the No. 1 Panguitch Bobcats dismantled No. 9 Rich 61-44 in the 1A state quarterfinals at the Sevier Valley Center Thursday. Ridge Lundgren had 13 points on 4-6 and 3-4 from range in defeat for the Rebels. Panguitch next faces Tabiona Friday at 7:00 pm in the state semifinals at the Sevier Valley Center.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Chance Lazenby’s 15 points and 8 rebounds led the way and the No. 4 Tabiona Tigers downed No. 5 Milford 54-31 in the battle of the Tigers Thursday at the Sevier Valley Center to conclude the 1A state quarterfinals. Milford next plays Rich Friday at 1:00 pm in the one-loss bracket at the Sevier Valley Center.

RICHFIELD, Utah-Mersadie Rhodes posted 14 points and 5 rebounds and the No. 7 Tabiona Tigers bested No. 2 Wendover 48-30 at the Sevier Valley Center in the 1A state quarterfinals Thursday. Kadence Murphy led the Wildcats in defeat with 11 points and 6 rebounds on 4-8 from the field. The Tigers next face No. 3 Valley Friday at 5:30 pm in the state semifinals at the Sevier Valley Center.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Ruth Cox netted 13 points and 9 rebounds on 5-10 from the field and the No. 3 Valley Buffaloes downed No. 6 Piute 46-37 in the 1A state quarterfinals Thursday at the Sevier Valley Center. Tera Morgan’s 11 points and 5 rebounds led the Thunderbirds in defeat. Piute next plays No. 2 Wendover Friday at 10:00 am in the consolation bracket at the Sevier Valley Center.
