PRICE, Utah-The Richfield Wildcats smacked Carbon 56-38 in Region 12 boys basketball action Friday. Chet Anderson led the Dinos with 12 points in the loss.
Region 14
NEPHI, Utah-Kayson Douglas posted 11 points and 5 rebounds and the Manti Templars bested Juab 54-47 Friday in Region 14 boys basketball action. With the win, the Templars (20-2; 8-0 in Region 14 play) captured the region championship to conclude the regular season. Ryker Richards had 16 points and 6 rebounds on 7-10 from the field in the loss for the Wasps. Juab concludes the regular season at 14-7 and 6-2 in Region 14 play.

MT. PLEASANT, Utah-The Union Cougars completed the sweep of North Sanpete with a 58-53 win over the Hawks in Region 14 boys basketball play Friday.
Region 16
GUNNISON, Utah-Trayton Christensen led the way with 13 points and the North Sevier Wolves edged Gunnison Valley 47-46 Friday in Region 16 boys basketball play. Jon Willden’s game-high 14 points led the Bulldogs in the loss.
Region 19
BEAVER, Utah-Collin Baker posted 25 points and the San Juan Broncos edged Beaver 65-64 Friday in Region 19 boys basketball play. Baylor Blackburn’s 18 points and 5 rebounds led the Beavers in the loss.
Region 20
ORDERVILLE, Utah-Macoy Harris posted 24 points and the Valley Buffaloes pounded Diamond Ranch 56-36 in Region 20 boys basketball play Friday.
ESCALANTE, Utah-Tucker Chappell’s 21 points, 8 rebounds and 6 steals led the Panguitch Bobcats to a 69-36 rout of Escalante Friday in Region 20 boys basketball play. Kendal Gardner led the Moquis with 13 points in the loss.
Non-Region
MT. PLEASANT, Utah-The Wasatch Academy Tigers clobbered Layton Christian 107-66 Friday in non-region boys basketball play.
Girls Basketball
Region 19
ENTERPRISE, Utah-Ashlyn Houston recorded 21 points and the Kanab Lady Cowboys stonewalled Enterprise 59-42 in Region 19 girls basketball play Friday. Bentlee Rogers led the Wolves in defeat with 10 points.
BLANDING, Utah-Talia Alisa stepped up with 16 points and the Beaver Beavers dismantled San Juan 70-47 Friday in Region 19 girls basketball play. Shaylin Nez led the Broncos with 12 points in the loss.
MONROE, Utah-Bella Robinson and Katlynn Matheson had 15 points apiece and the Parowan Rams edged South Sevier 51-50 in Region 19 girls basketball play Friday. Kinley Jenson’s 17 points led the South Sevier Rams in defeat.
