Men’s Basketball
EPHRAIM, Utah-Max Triplett’s 18 points on 7-10 from the field led the way and the Snow Badgers upset No. 5 Salt Lake Community College 84-83 at the Horne Activity Center Thursday in SWAC men’s basketball play. Chase Potter added 18 points and 10 rebounds in victory for Snow. Jared Garcia led the Bruins in defeat with 25 points and 6 rebounds on 9-13 from the field and 6-9 from range.
Women’s Basketball
EPHRAIM, Utah-Samiana Suguturaga posted 14 points, 4 rebounds and 4 steals and the Snow Badgers downed Salt Lake Community College 66-59 Thursday in SWAC women’s basketball play at the Horne Activity Center. Aminata Diakite and Finau Tonga each recorded 16 points and 8 rebounds in defeat for the Bruins.
