DENVER-Monday, Southern Utah freshman forward Parsa Fallah was named the WAC freshman of the week for the second time this season.
The 6-9 native of Iran posted 23 points and 17 rebounds in the Thunderbirds’ 120-49 win over West Coast Baptist last Tuesday.
Fallah, who has previously starred on the Iranian National Team, is averaging 6 points and 4.3 rebounds on the season for the Thunderbirds.
Fallah and his SUU teammates return to action Saturday by hosting the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks at the America First Event Center.
