HENDERSON, Nev.-Clayton Southwick posted 23 points and 11 rebounds as the No. 16 Snow Badgers downed Southern Nevada 87-78 in SWAC men’s basketball play Saturday. Kendrick Gilbert’s 19 points on 5-7 from the field led the Coyotes in the loss. Snow improved to 10-1 and 2-0 in SWAC play.
The Badgers return to action Wednesday by hosting No. 2 Salt Lake Community College at 7:00 pm.
Women’s Basketball
SWAC
HENDERSON, Nev.-Samiana Suguturaga led the way with 12 points on 5-10 from the field and the Snow Badgers edged Southern Nevada 51-49 Saturday in SWAC women’s basketball play. Aaliyah Ibarra’s 13 points led the Coyotes in defeat.
Snow improved to 5-6 and 2-o in SWAC play. The Badgers return to action Wednesday by hosting Salt Lake Community College at 5:00 pm.
