Boys Basketball

PRICE, Utah-Michael Stevenson-Atienzo posted 24 points and 8 rebounds on 6-11 from the field and 11-11 at the foul line as the Carbon Dinos routed North Sanpete 74-58 in non-region boys basketball play Tuesday. Ty Allan netted 20 points and 10 rebounds in the loss for the Hawks. Carbon improved to 3-0 on the season with the win. North Sanpete fell to 1-1 in defeat.

BICKNELL, Utah-Jake Peterson’s 30 points led the way for the Wayne Badgers in a 63-46 win over Green River Tuesday in non-region boys basketball play. Ryker Meadows’ 12 points led the Pirates in the loss.

FILLMORE, Utah-Hunter Rhodes netted 35 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists as the Millard Eagles decimated Diamond Ranch 100-21 in non-region boys basketball play Tuesday.

BEAVER, Utah-The Piute Thunderbirds routed Beaver 67-51 Tuesday in non-region boys basketball action.

DELTA, Utah-Logan Woolstenhulme netted 15 points and the South Summit Wildcats gashed Delta 58-45 in non-region boys basketball play Tuesday at the Palladium. Cai Henderson posted 17 points for the Rabbits in the loss.

Five For the Fight National Hoopfest

SALT LAKE CITY-The Wasatch Academy Tigers downed the Bishop Walsh (Md.) Spartans 63-50 Tuesday during the Five For the Fight National Hoopfest.

Girls Basketball

CEDAR CITY, Utah-The Canyon View Falcons edged Beaver 46-43 in non-region girls basketball play Tuesday.

RICHFIELD, Utah-Maile Bartley and Kenzie Allen posted 14 points apiece and the Grantsville Lady Cowboys edged Richfield 52-50 Tuesday in non-region girls basketball play. Nicole Willardson’s game-high 16 points led the Wildcats in the loss.

MONROE, Utah-Sydnee Patterson led the way with 17 points and the South Sevier Rams downed Millard 45-41 in non-region girls basketball play Tuesday. Brielle Leathem led the Eagles in the loss with 17 points.

PANGUITCH, Utah-Anna Cutler netted 20 points and the Kanab Lady Cowboys pounded Panguitch 68-43 Tuesday in non-region girls basketball play. Tabetha Henrie’s 17 points led the Bobcats in defeat.

GUNNISON, Utah-Tiffany Tervort posted 25 points and the ALA Eagles hammered Gunnison Valley 52-32 in non-region girls basketball play Tuesday. Rilee Dyreng’s 11 points led the Bulldogs in the loss.
