GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.-Saturday, three Snow College women’s wrestlers placed in the Maverick Open at Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction, Colo.  They are as follows:

136 pounds

freshman Corrie Williams of Enterprise, Utah. She lost to Paige Respicio of the University of Providence (Mont.) in the finals to place second by a technical fall

116 pounds

freshman Samantha Memmott of Kaysville, Utah (Layton High School) placed fourth. She fell to Isabell Ortiz of Chadron State (Neb.) in the 3rd-4th place match.

freshman Lexus Bertagnolli of West Point, Utah (Roy High School) placed fifth. She also lost to Ortiz.

The Badgers return to action Friday by competing at the Embry-Riddle Mile High Collegiate Women’s Open at Prescott, Ariz.
