(Beaver County, UT) — One person is dead after a snowmobile fell through thin ice on a lake in Beaver County. Investigators say the rider was trying to cross Blue Lake yesterday when the snowmobile went into the water. The Beaver County Sheriff’s Office says the rider was dead by the time help arrived. The victim’s identity was not released yesterday and the cause of death is still under investigation.
