(Salt Lake City, UT) — The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is opening up about a cybersecurity attack that happened back in March. Church officials made the announcement yesterday, saying federal law enforcement barred them from making the security breach public. Members, employees, and contractors who had an online account may have had their information compromised, including name, mailing address, phone number, and gender. No one’s banking or donation history was compromised. Anyone impacted will be notified directly.
