(Salt Lake City, UT) — A new design for the Utah State Flag is getting closer to reality. Nineteen designs are under consideration following feedback from the public. State Senator Dan McCay tweeted images of the remaining designs last night, saying they represented the hard work of many Utahns and all share a strong connection to the state. More than 57-hundred designs were submitted for the contest. The Utah Legislature will ultimately decide which design will replace Utah’s current flag.
