The 6th District Juvenile Court has announced five candidates for a new judge. Nominees include Arek Butler, Sanpete County deputy county attorney; Alex Goble, San Juan County deputy county attorney; Michael Mathie, Sevier County deputy county attorney; Alen Sevison, southern section director for the Utah Attorney General’s office; and Robert Van Dyke, Kane County attorney.

The 6th District Juvenile Court includes Sanpete, Sevier, Wayne, Piute, Garfield and Kane counties, making it the largest geographical district in the state.
