Ephraim imposes new park curfew

The Ephraim City Council has voted unanimously to impose a new curfew in its city parks.

The vote was held in a city council meeting on August 3rd. Effective immediately the curfew is in effect from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. at all city parks.

The push for this ordinance came from local residents who had complained of noisy activities in the early hours of the morning.

The curfew applies to both minors and adults. Violators will be charged with trespassing as police will be patrolling all parks.
