Senate Passes Bill To Save Great Salt Lake

(Salt Lake City, UT) — The U.S. Senate passed a bill yesterday in hopes of saving the Great Salt Lake. The Great Salt Lake Act asks the federal government for ten-million-dollars to study the current historic drought conditions to find solutions to the shrinking lake and others in the Great Basin. Earlier this month the lake dropped to its lowest water level on record for the second time in a year.
