(Millard County, CO) — Firefighters are gaining ground on a wildfire burning in Millard County. Fire officials say containment of the Halfway Hill Fire increased to five-percent yesterday. The fire near Fillmore has burned more than ten-thousand acres since it was first reported last Friday. An abandoned campfire caused the fire and four people are facing charges.
