UDEQ: Concerning Levels Of Radon Found One-Out-Of-Three Utah Homes

(Salt Lake City, UT) — The Utah Department of Environmental Quality is warning residents to test their homes for radon. DEQ officials estimate that one-in-three Utah homes have concerning levels of radon gas. The gas is colorless, odorless and tasteless, and can cause lung cancer if exposure is prolonged. Residents can get testing kits at radon.utah.gov.
