SANDY, Utah-The No. 1 Layton Christian Eagles No. 5 Judge in extra time on penalty kicks, outscoring the Bulldogs 4-1 in the extra session Tuesdayin the 3A state semifinals at Jordan High School. The score was tied 1-1 after regulation as the Eagles excelled on the penalty kicks to advance. Layton Christian will play No. 2 Real Salt Lake Academy for a 3A state title Wednesday at 5:00 pm at Rio Tinto Stadium.

DRAPER, Utah-The No. 9 Rowland Hall-St. Mark’s Winged Lions blanked No. 4 American Heritage 2-0 Tuesday in the 2A state semifinals at Juan Diego Catholic High School.
The Winged Lions next play for the 2A state championship against No. 3 St. Joseph Wednesday at 2:00 pm at Rio Tinto Stadium.
DRAPER, Utah-The No. 3 St. Joseph Jayhawks drilled No. 7 Millard 8-0 in the 2A state semifinals Tuesday at Juan Diego Catholic High School. Daniel Fontes amassed a hat trick in victory for the Jayhawks.
