MT. PLEASANT, Utah-Gage Adams drove in a pair of runs and the No. 17 Morgan Trojans overpowered No. 16 North Sanpete 4-1 in the 3A baseball play-in game Friday. Adams also posted 12 strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Trojans. Morgan next faces No. 1 Juab Saturday at 10:00 am at the Juab High School pod in Nephi.
KAMAS, Utah-The No. 18 Grand Red Devils upset No. 15 South Summit 11-8 Friday in the 3A baseball play-in game.
Kohen Peterson and Derek Allen each drove in a pair of runs in the loss for the Wildcats. Grand advances to the Canyon View pod Saturday to face No. 2 Canyon View at 10:00 am at Canyon View High School.
MANTI, Utah-The No. 14 Manti Templars pummeled No. 19 Providence Hall 11-1 in the 3A baseball play-in game Friday. Manti next faces No. 3 ALA Saturday at 10:00 am in the ALA pod.
SALT LAKE CITY-The No. 13 Judge Bulldogs overpowered No. 20 Ben Lomond 11-6 Friday in the 3A baseball play-in game. The Bulldogs next visit No. 4 Carbon at 10:00 am at Carbon High School.
