Utah Troopers Catch Dozens Of Drivers Doing 100MPH In Juab County

(Juab County, UT) — Easter weekend is going to be very expensive for some drivers who were caught speeding in west-central Utah. The Utah Highway Patrol conducted a speed enforcement effort over the weekend near Little Saraha Sand Dunes in Juab County. At least 200 drivers were ticketed for speeding, with more than 30 drivers caught doing more than 100-miles-an-hour. Troopers were forced to deploy spike strips yesterday when a driver doing more than 100 refused to stop. The driver tried to flee on foot and sustained an ankle injury before being caught and arrested on DUI charges.
