NEPHI, Utah-Tarren Anderson and Kyla Winter each posted 4 RBI as the Juab Wasps outgunned Emery 14-11 in non-region softball action Wednesday. Winter also led the Wasps to victory in the circle by posting 7 strikeouts.
ST. GEORGE, Utah-Sophia Rodriguez drove in a pair of runs and Pine View withstood a late Kanab surge to outlast the Lady Cowboys 10-9 Wednesday in non-region softball play. Taylor Janes led Kanab in defeat with 4 RBI while Kati Riddle drove in three more runs in the loss for the Lady Cowboys.
Boys Soccer
Region 14
NEPHI, Utah-Ethan Roundy, Ryker Richards and Jake Peterson each scored a pair of goals and the Juab Wasps pummeled North Sanpete 9-1 Wednesday in Region 14 boys soccer action. Zach Saez, Bridger Richards and Jaxon Drake also scored for the Wasps in victory. Dante Lowe had the sole goal in the loss for the Hawks.
DELTA, Utah-Carlos Acosta and Teegan McDonald each scored and the Delta Rabbits blanked Union 2-0 in Region 14 boys soccer action Wednesday. Edson Radillo recorded the shutout for the Rabbits.
Non-Region
HERRIMAN, Utah-Kyle Steindfelt scored twice and the Manti Templars blanked Providence Hall 4-0 Wednesday in non-region boys soccer play. Juan Palmerin and Arturo Cisneros also scored in the win for the Templars. Devontae Cruz earned the shutout for Manti.
