KANSAS CITY, Mo.-Wednesday, Utah Valley star sophomore center Fardaws Aimaq and Utah State senior forward Justin Bean were named to the United States Basketball Writers Association’s All-District VIII team.
Aimaq posted 18.9 points and 13.5 rebounds per game for the Wolverines this season and is the only player in Division I to have three 20-point 20-rebound games.
Bean netted 17.5 points and 9.9 rebounds per game for the Aggies on the season.
District VIII consists of players representing schools in Wyoming, Utah, Idaho, New Mexico, Colorado, Nevada and Montana.
