(Salt Lake City, UT) — Supply chain issues are affecting Utahns in unexpected ways. The state Department of Motor Vehicles is unable to issue new license plate decals because the material needed to make them hasn’t been delivered. DMV offices are giving car owners a letter when they renew registration that shows that their license plates are current. The DMV will continue issuing virtual decals until the supply chain issues are resolved.
