(Milwaukee, WI) — Salt Lake City is not considered a frontrunner to host the 2024 Republican National Convention. Politico says Republican leaders toured Milwaukee on Thursday and are close to signing an agreement to hold the convention there. Milwaukee was originally scheduled to host the national convention in 2020, but the event was canceled due to the pandemic. Republican officials are still scheduled to tour Nashville next week.
