(Salt Lake County, UT) – Salt Lake County District Attorney Sim Gill is renewing his plea to Utah gun owners to properly store their firearms. The plea comes as part of National Gun Violence Survivors Week, which runs between February 1st through the 7th. Last year, Gill and other law enforcement officials asked lawful gun owners to store their weapons in a safe or other secured storage options so they aren’t taken during car and home burglaries.
