Region 12
CEDAR CITY, Utah-Andrew Barnes netted 16 points and the Canyon View Falcons gashed Richfield 60-48 in Region 12 boys basketball play Wednesday. Miles Barnett led the Wildcats in the loss with 13 points.
Region 14
DELTA, Utah-Landon Bowles posted 17 points and 6 rebounds on 6-10 from the field as the North Sanpete Hawks clobbered Delta 66-37 Wednesday in Region 14 boys basketball action at the Palladium.
Andy Mower added 14 points on 5-9 from the field and 3-5 behind the arc for the Hawks, who improved to 13-3 and 3-1 in Region 14 play.
North Sanpete dominated on the glass, outrebounding the Rabbits 48-16.
Cai Henderson’s 10 points led the Rabbits in defeat. Delta fell to 1-15 and 0-4 in Region 14 play with the loss.
North Sanpete returns to action February 2 to host Manti. Delta’s season ensues Friday as they visit Manti.
ROOSEVELT, Utah-Kayson Douglas netted 27 points and the Manti Templars outlasted a late Union surge as they prevailed 46-45 over the Cougars Wednesday in Region 14 boys basketball play. Grady Gardner had 23 points in defeat for Union.
Region 16
FILLMORE, Utah-Hunter Rhodes amassed 22 points and 5 assists as the Millard Eagles stonewalled Gunnison Valley 62-34 in Region 16 boys basketball play Wednesday. Jon Willden led the Bulldogs in the loss with 11 points.
SALINA, Utah-Ethan Fielding netted 26 points and the North Sevier Wolves surged past North Summit 62-49 Wednesday in Region 16 boys basketball play. Trey Pace led the Braves in defeat with 22 points and 10 rebounds.
Region 19
BEAVER, Utah-Cooper Adams posted 13 points and 6 rebounds and the Enterprise Wolves hammered Beaver 56-23 in Region 19 boys basketball play Wednesday. Baylor Blackburn’s 8 points and 6 rebounds led the Beavers in the loss.
Region 20
ORDERVILLE, Utah-Hunter Mitchell led the way with 14 points and the Wayne Badgers edged Valley 60-58 Wednesday in Region 20 boys basketball play. Brett Heaton and McCoy Harris had 16 points apiece in defeat for the Buffaloes.
MILFORD, Utah-Paxton Wolfley stepped up with 13 points and the Panguitch Bobcats hammered Milford 51-33 in Region 20 boys basketball play Wednesday. Treyton Rose led the Tigers in defeat with 12 points.
TROPIC, Utah-Brock Syrett amassed 34 points and the Bryce Valley Mustangs edged Diamond Ranch 67-64 Wednesday in Region 20 boys basketball play. John Langenbach led the Diamondbacks in defeat with 20 points.
HILDALE, Utah-The Piute Thunderbirds steamrolled Water Canyon 71-37 in Region 20 boys basketball action Wednesday.
