(Salt Lake City, UT) — State lawmakers are moving quickly to overturn mask mandates currently in force in two Utah counties. State senators voted 22-5 in favor of a resolution that would knock down the mask orders in place in Salt Lake and Summit counties. The five no votes came from Democrats who supported keeping the mask mandates in place. The resolution now goes to the House for consideration.
