(Springdale, UT) — Hikers looking to climb one of the most popular spots at Zion National Park will need to leave it up to chance. The National Park Service launched a lottery for its pilot permit program. Visitors looking to hike Angels Landing between April 1st and May 31st need to register in advance and select the days and ranges of time they wish to climb. Only one-thousand permits are issued, and they are refundable.
