UDOH Changes COVID-19 Quarantine Guidelines

(Salt Lake City, UT) — The Utah Department of Health changed its COVID-19 isolation and quarantine guidelines to match recent changes from the CDC. Under the updated protocols, anyone who tests positive must stay home for at least five days, regardless if they have symptoms. After five days, that person can then leave home but must wear a mask anytime they are around others. This all comes as Utah and the country deals with an enormous surge in new COVID-19 infections due to the Omicron variant.
