(Salt Lake City, UT) — More than 600 drivers are facing speeding tickets in Utah following the Christmas holiday weekend. The Utah Highway Patrol noted yesterday that troopers caught 21 drivers going more than 100-miles-an-hour between Friday and Sunday. Forty drivers were cited for not wearing seat belts, while 21 were arrested for DUI. Troopers also assisted drivers in more than 200 crashes over the weekend.
